Heat up on medium in a saucepan, stirring frequently so it doesn't scorch:
Two cans Cream of Potato Soup. This has less sodium than most other soups..yay!
Eight ounces smoked salmon. This comes in four-ounce vacuum packs in the meat section of the store. Label-readers that we are, we check the ingredient list to avoid nitrites.
2 3/4 cups milk. We use 1%...so I did 2 1/2 cups of that, plus a quarter cup of fat-free half and half.
Whatever spices you have on hand that you'd like to season with. Dill weed? Marjoram...sea salt...pepper...
When it's steamy and starting to get thick, add:
One bag of frozen corn.
Heat it up...ladel it out...serve with whole-grain dinner rolls...
