Harmless radio breakfast flake & ringleader of K103 in the morning. Born and raised here in Portland and Vancouver, I started in radio at Benson High School's KBPS and was on the Big 62 with John Erickson in the morning before I got transferred to Seattle - for 30 years! I was on KING Radio and KLSY-FM in Seattle and when Craig Walker retired I came back to Portland to be a part of the legendary K103 morning show.
Married to Monica (a 7th grade teacher in Camas) our kids are grown and still in SEA - and we have two incredible grandaughters.

I'm betting with a little downtime over the holidays you'll be playing Angry Birds. Or maybe you'll finally be getting that new tablet you've wanted -- which will finally allow you to get in on the Angry Birds fun. Well AngryBirdsNest.com compiled a list of strategies to help you earn top points:
* FIND THE KEY: Many levels have a trick or “key” of some sort to the solution. There is often a certain block that if hit correctly will set off a chain reaction and bring the whole structure down. Think outside the box a little and be creative.
* THE ORDER: The order of the specific birds given to you will often be a clue as to what part of the structure to attack. For example, if your first bird is a yellow bird, that may be an indicator to look for a wood block to destroy to make everything fall.
* USE THE BACKGROUND: Sometimes you’ll have a shot that you are trying to duplicate over and over. It may help to note the location of the bird when you pull it back in the slingshot against the background so that you can try to line it up again. Some people even count pixels to make sure they’re shooting from the same spot.
* TOSS OR SAVE: If you finish a level with an extra bird or two, you will get 10,000 points for each bird. Though from a points perspective you may be better using it to destroy more of the structure instead.
* HIT THE INTERNET: If a levels solution still alludes you, YouTube channels offer walkthroughs for every level of every game.
