I will need a securely fenced yard and you will want to think about looking at another dog if you are looking for an off leash candidate. I am a young lady looking for a patient and loving home. I ldo my best to be brave but it is hard to be when you are alone. With a bit of training and time, I will be the dog of your dreams!! Lazlo is a 12 week old male black and white kitten with medium length super-silky-soft fur. His foster family reports that he loves everyone, even the children and other animals. They say he is a great cuddler witha booming purr and the CUTEST scratchy little meow when he is looking for attention. He is very friendly and playful and will fit into any sort of home. He has perfect litterbox habits and his scratching post trained. Waylen is a 12 week old male black and white "tuxedo" kitten with an ultra short, sleek coat and white "sox" on all four paws. He has a long slim build with unusual looking fine features. Waylen is smart, confident, social, and playful. In his foster home, he could be found wherever the people were hanging out, usually planted on someone's chest. He will do great in any sort of home, but will be happiest if he has plenty of company. Waylen is described by his foster dad as a "rock and roll kittin," and the rest of the family agrees that he is just a great little dude with a huge personality. He has perfect litterbox habits, is scratching post trained and has nice indoor manners. Sweetie is most definitely a dog we love. She is active and playful and good with strangers. She is still young and will need training but she should make a great family dog if a good loving home puts in the time she needs. She is scared about some handling so kids in her home need to be 8 years or older. She is around 1 1/2 years old and weighs about 43 pounds. Sweetied enjoyed a couple of weeks in foster care. We know she is crate trained, walks well on a leash, is 98% house trained, loves meeting new people and playing with other dogs. Beastie Boy is a brown, black and whilte male Domestic Shorthair. He is approximately a year and a half. He weighs about 10 pounds. He was found around 238th and Treehill Drive.
Suburban is a white, brown and black tabby male Domestic Shorthair. He is approximately a year old. He weighs about 9.2 pounds and was found around 238th and Treehill Drive in Wood Village as well. Both cats have been fixed and are ready to go home with you! We would love to see them go home together but if not, they should go to a home with another playful cat.

Brittany is a lovely white Shorthair with splotches of tabby. Her green eyes light up when she sees a toy - she’s quite the toy enthusiast! She also has a ready purr to match her playfulness. She is about 1.5 years old and is a perfect 7 lbs. This little girl will keep you entertained for hours, a great companion for any family. Brittany does not seem to care for other cats, but mellow dogs seem to be okay with her.

 Wednesday, May 7th I'm just a young lab. 7-8 months old, trapped ina brindle body! If you like labs, you really should meet me! I'm goofy, playful, very affectionate and love to walk around the house and pick up all kinds of things in my mouth, so to keep me from getting in trouble, plea provide a lot of toys and show me what is and isn't okay to schew on. I need a home with no cats. I've been in foster care where I got good start on crate training, staying off furniture, and learning not to jump up, but I'll need some more help to master these things.

*UPDATE* Steven has recently been neutered and is now at Multnomah County's outreach location at the Gresham PetSmart on NW Eastman Parkway.
Steven is about one year old. He is a Domestic Short Hair "Mackerel" Tabby. He is *not* yet neutered. Steven should be fine with most households with a proper introduction. He fit in purrrrfectly in the K103 studios with Bruce so we'd imagine he could handle most any other situation :-) He is very confident & friendly and will need LOTS of fun playtime!

Chomper could use some TLC. He's a bit thin right now and came to us from a less than perfect home. He's a bit allof with people he doesn't know but quite friendly when he gets to know you. He has some obedience training. Any kids in Chomper's new home need to be at least 8 years old because he wasn't always handled properly in his past. He is 78 pounds but needs to gain a little bit of weight. Truman is a sweetheart in every sense of the word. He knows commands such as sit, stay, lay down, and speak. He is freindly, loyal, loving, active and will make a great family pet. His only issue is that he is quite shy while meeting new people but he does warm up quickly. Truman is about 5 years old, weighs in at a healthy (and chunky) 63lbs. Don't let the name fool you. Tiny is not tiny by any means. He is an adult male Mastiff-mix. He is calm and friendly. He likes to sniff around, so Tiny will need a fenced yard to play in. He'd make a great addition to a family with older children. He's around six years old and is nearly 100 pounds. Tiny seems to have a little arthritis in his hind quarters, but a little glucosamine might alleviate that problem. Tiny currently resides at the Multnomah County Animal Services. Bob is a good ol' boy! He is easy going and likes people. Bob is looking for a whome to match his mellow personality. Bob does not like his food, so a home with kids that are 10 years or older is necessary. Bob likes to kiss your face if you get it close enough, so watch out when you meet him! He is already neutered and weighs about 100 lbs. Bob's foster home reports that he is fully house trained and gets along well with other dogs. Bob is NOT at the shelter - he is in foster care. Heidi is a nice girl who is looking for a new loving home. It can take her a while to adjust in new situations but she is adapting well here and is such a lovely sweet girl. Although she has had prior experience with young kids, we do not recommend childrent under 8 as she will need to adjust to a completely new home and it may be a bit overwhelming for her. A quite home with older kids and not a lot of traffic coming in and out would be ideal for this sweet girl. A behavior consultation is included as we have a lot more information to share! Older dogs are almost always passed by in the kennels and have fewer options for placement than younger dogs. For mature dogs like Jasmine, waiting is harder when you don't know if anyone is coming for you. This beautiful girl is calm and attentive and knows "sit" and "shake". She is hoping that the next six years of her life will be better than her first six years. While she has hair loss from lack of flea treatment, her coat is a beautiful plush salt and pepper color. Her outer appearance can be repaired easily with regular care. Mature dogs don't need the exercise that younger dogs do and make wonderful calm companions. Jasmine is ready for the quieter but still active side of life, we ask that kids in the home be 10 years and older.
