Are we starving our children

Hundreds of people who want to help their neighbors went to a movie this weekend.  It's about why so many people are going hungry in America and what you can do to feed those folks.

Sharon Thornberry - works at the Oregon food bank - because she knows about being hungry..."my children and I had been hungry and homeless back in 78 and 79."

She was able to work her way out of the hole.

She's part of the new documentary - "A Place At The Table"...and says hunger is not just about money..."people living in places where they can't get healthy food and where their food dollars don't go very far and what they're able to buy isn't good for them."

And as the movie points out - America is starving a lot of its kids..."if another country was doing this to our kids we would be at war." That is film narrator Jeff Bridges.
