Police search for wrecked BMW

The driver of the BMW is wanted for a hit and run that injured a 5-year-old girl.

Oregon State Police troopers are continuing the investigation and attempting to locate an involved hit-and-run vehicle and driver following Saturday afternoon's injury crash at the intersection of SE 82nd Avenue and SE Causey Avenue south of Portland. The involved vehicle is believed to have been abandoned somewhere in the Clackamas area. OSP is asking for the public's help to locate the vehicle and driver.

On March 16, 2013 at approximately 1:02 p.m., a silver 1999 BMW 528i driven by a male suspect was attempting to left onto SE 82nd Avenue from a Goodwill store parking lot when it collided with passenger car. After impact, the BMW car drove away from the scene southbound on SE 82nd Avenue. The other involved passenger car's driver, 27-year-old Jennifer Crenshaw, from SE Portland, was not injured. Her 5-year old daughter, was transported by ambulance to Portland Adventist Hospital with minor injury. They were using safety restraints and a child safety seat.

OSP troopers from the Portland Area Command office are continuing the investigation and search for the hit-and-run vehicle and driver. A license plate from the silver BMW, Oregon CA30537, was left behind at the scene. The vehicle should have extensive front damage.
