The search for Michael Boysen is over.
The man wanted for the murder of his grandparents near Seattle last Friday held police at bay all day Tuesday at the Westshore Oceanfront Hotel in Lincoln City.
He was recognized by the clerk at the front when he used his real name to check in. She called 911.
All of the guests were evacuated.
Police eventually forced entry and found Michael Boysen on his back suffering self-inflected wounds, possibly with a knife. He was transported on Life Flight to a Portland hospital were he's in critical condition.
