Marion County detectives are looking for Dennis Knight, a suspect in a robbery and shooting.
Marion County investigators believe 33-year-old Dennis Knight of Grand Ronde was involved in an attempted robbery and shooting in Salem on Jan. 28th. He is described in the statement posted below, including photos of his unique tattoos.

A statement from the Marion County Sheriff's Office:
Marion County Sheriff's Detectives are seeking the public's assistance in locating a man who has been identified as one of two suspects involved in a home invasion shooting that occurred in Salem on January 28th.
The suspect, Dennis James Knight, 33, of Grand Ronde is believed to frequent both Salem and Grand Ronde. Knight is 6-4 tall, weighs 240 pounds and has brown hair. Knight has numerous tattoos on his arms and hands; the most noticeable being bear claws on the web of each hand.

Investigation has developed Knight as one of two suspects who entered a pool house to the rear of a residence on Jade Street and tried to rob the occupant. During this robbery attempt, the occupant was shot.

Investigators are seeking information on Knight's current whereabouts, vehicles he may drive, and people with whom he is associated. Any information on the second suspect in this shooting is welcomed.
