Saturday morning around 3 a.m. a pedestrian was hit at Southeast 68th Avenue and Division Street.

Officers arrived and located an adult female injured in the street. Medical personnel responded and transported her to a Portland hospital with serious but not life-threatening injuries.

Witnessed told police that a dark-colored SUV or truck was traveling eastbound on Southeast Division Street when it struck the woman as she was crossing the street.

According to the witnesses, the vehicle never slowed down prior to or after striking the woman.

Officers checked the area but did not locate any vehicles matching the suspect description.
