Pedestrians hit during crash

A crash in Northwest Portland killed one pedestrian and injured four others.

A crash between a pick-up and a Sassy's Cab in Portland's Old Town killed one pedestrian and injured several others.

The crash happened at 2:34 a.m. Sunday at Northwest 5th Avenue and Everett Street.

After the vehicles crashed, one of the vehicles went up onto the sidewalk, striking multiple pedestrians.

One of the pedestrians died at the scene and four others have been transported to Portland hospitals. Their conditions are not known at this time.

Both drivers remained at the scene and are cooperating with investigators.

They have not released what factors led to the crash.
