From Salem to Wilsonville, heavy fog froze Friday morning causing icy roads.

Thick fog formed in the Willamette Valley early Thursday morning and freezing temperatures caused that fog to freeze.

Roadways became very slick. A truck carrying a crane slid out of control on the ramp from Elligsen Road to I-5.

ODOT trucks spread de-icer on the freeway.

Traffic was delayed on both directions of I-5 getting through Wilsonville.
