The driver of a Toyota Camry crossed the center line and hit a truck going the opposite direction.
Friday morning, a 1998 Toyota Camry four-door driven by 25-year-old Michael Warn, from Taft, Oregon, was northbound on Highway 213 south of Oregon City near Carus Road when it crossed the centerline and collided into the driver side of a southbound 2008 Freightliner truck pulling a semi-trailer loaded with hazardous chemicals.
After impact, the Toyota came to rest on its wheels in northbound side ditch and the truck and trailer came to rest partially blocking the highway.
Warn was extricated by Clackamas Fire District #1 firefighters and transported by ambulance to Oregon Health & Science University with serious, but non-life threatening injuries.
The commercial truck's driver, 45-year-old Troy Huston, from Vancouver, Washington, was not injured.
Icy roads were not a factor in the crash.
