A trailer carrying an off road vehicle broke free from a pickup and crashed head-on into a van with two women.
Sunday morning, 23-year-old Spencer Foley, from Toledo, was driving his pickup and pulling a trailer carrying an off road vehicle. The trailer started to whip out of control and it separated from the truck.
The trailer hit a van with two women inside. They were both killed. 69-year-old Suzanne Aiken and 94-year-old Loise Raether were both from Yachats.
Highway 101 was blocked four hours for the investigation.
