The Salvation Army is asking for help meeting its goal.

The Salvation Army bell ringers are doing their jobs, but the donations aren't coming in fast enough.  The Salvation Army Red Kettle campaign is 45% behind in donations.  Their goal is $900,000.

How to Help:

*     Drop extra change in your local Kettle.  With around 150 locations across the Metro area, you should be able to find one!
*     Create an Online Red Kettle!  Visit www.OnlineRedKettle.org to create your own kettle, set a goal, and share with your friends.  Watch your kettle grow as friends, family, and co-workers join you in this Christmas project!
*     Donate food.   Non-perishable food donations are always needed, especially right now as families are looking for help with their Christmas dinner.  Visit www.salvationarmyportland.org to find your local food bank (Corps).
*     Make a financial contribution.  Donate online at www.salvationarmyportland.org or mail a check to The Salvation Army, Attn: Development, 8495 SE Monterey Avenue, Happy Valley, OR 97086-7844.
