How Oregon plans to make buying health care easier
This Wednesday you are invited to weigh in on Oregon's brand new health plans.
The meeting will be in the Labor and Industries building in downtown Salem. "It's on some health plans that will be available to consumers beginning in January of 2014".
Cheryl Martinez with the state says they will explain the Bronze and Silver plans. "That tells you how much of the cost you're going to pay out of your pocket versus how much your plan is going to pay. A Bronze plan pays less for example than a Platinum plan".
The plans aired out this week are for small employers or people who buy their own insurance. For more you can go on line to Oregon Insurance Division...and click on public meetings.
