Tigard Water officials say the water is safe to drink without boiling.
Testing Thursday morning shows the bacteria is gone from the Tigard Water system and the water is safe to drink without boiling.
On Monday, tests found bacteria in the water system. Tests Tuesday confirmed the results. On Wednesday a boil water order was issued and the city flushed the system.
The cause of the contamination remains under investigation.
