Clackamas County Fire District One crews rescued a homeless woman and her dog who were surrounded by flood water. Monday afternoon, a woman called 911 to report she was in a homeless camp in the Three Creeks Natural Area, near SE 82nd Avenue and SE Sunnybrook Blvd, Clackamas.
Susan Seale reported that her campsite was normally dry, but the recent rains had made the creeks in the area rise to flooded levels. She also reported that her dog was with her.
Search and Rescue and Water Rescue deputies from the Clackamas County Sheriff's Office, as well as personnel from Clackamas County Fire District #1, were able to locate the woman from her screams.
