The day was put into place by the families of Wendy and Shelby Mizee, a mother and daughter who were killed in a tragic car accident 2 years ago. This is a day that has been made official as Act in Kindess Day in Tillamook by the County Commissioners. The goal is to spread the word and get people involved all over the state and even the country.
