I am a native Oregonian, born in The Dalles but lived most of my early years in Portland. I graduated from Roosevelt High School and earned my B.S. degree from Portland State. My parents owned a neighborhood drug store in North Portland where my sister and brother and I all worked.
Like Bruce and John, I am an alumnus of 62 KGW, back in its heyday, and actually worked with John. I eventually moved to Los Angeles and had a 20+ year radio and television career there. In 2001 I totally switched gears and pursued my hobby as a career and became a professional landscape designer; I even won HGTVs Landscapers Challenge. In 2005 I moved back home to Portland to be near my family.
I am so proud to call Portland's K103 my radio home. Working with Bruce and John is a blast!
