Stacey & Mike's Happy News: Drone Pilot's Thermal Tech Finds Missing Dogs

A drone pilot from New York is helping families find lost dogs using thermal drone technology. Mike Coyne says he has always had that dream of being the eye in the sky. He said he uses a DU1 3T, which costs nearly $8,000.

It’s a thermal drone that picks up body heat, which makes it easier to spot a missing pet in the woods or streets and he feels like it is his life mission and remembers each and every rescue, including the most recent pup he found just this week

Mike has found about 40 missing dogs in the last year and does most of his work as a volunteer but does donations to help pay for gas and new equipment.
