Portland Parks and Recreation launched the festival last year as part of the bureau’s Summer Free For All. The theme of this year’s festival is "Celebrating Black Excellence." It runs from 4 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. on both Saturday and Sunday.
The Oregon Country Fair returns in grand fashion this weekend after a smaller celebration last year due to COVID. A cool twist this year, all bands on the main stage will be female-fronted for the first time. The Oregon Country Fair opens tomorrow and runs from 11 a.m. - 7 p.m.thru Sunday.
