|As Clackamas County’s sole child abuse medical assessment center, Children’s Center plays a vital role in stopping abuse and holding perpetrators accountable. Operating since 2004, the Center helps children and families in cases of suspected physical abuse, sexual abuse, neglect, drug endangerment and witness to violence. The Center also responds to requests from families for information and support, referrals from law enforcement and the Department of Human Services regarding children needing assessments, and community|
|requests for child abuse awareness and education trainings. All services combined, over 2,000 vulnerable children and families, community members and care providers will receive assessment and support services in Clackamas County this year.
